Shaun Tomson shines in the Grand Masters!

In the category Grand Masters (surfers aged 50 or older), who shined was South Africa's Shaun Tomson, world champion in 1977. He established the new League record: 15.90 points, complete with a note 9.00.

Shaun is one of the old man, who made several films and one of my first movies was Wave Warriors, where I started to crawl into the surf in 1985, guy ... still want to surf breaks at this age .. just a few short videos srsrs the guy.

Championships like this are great, the crowd surfing, which takes a long wave enters the memory, and thick planks straight, short shorts and tight, multicolored ... the sea was always empty srsr .. .. but it was good time and now that guys are there ...
The Brazucas are in optimal physical condition and breaking .. won the championship, the guys .. only the organization lacked the media, which always falls short because there is nothing in the programs open, and always give priority to soccer, the beach volleyball and futsal ..
But what matters is the simplicity of surf and history it represents.

Campeonatos como esse são demais, a galera do surf, que pega onda a muito tempo entra na lembrança , pranchas grossas e retas, bermudas curtas e apertadas, multicoloridas...o mar estava sempre vazio..srsr..mas era boa época e hoje este caras estão ai...
Os Brazucas estão em otima condição fisica e quebrando.!.Valeu o campeonato, os caras, a organização..só faltou a midia, que sempre deixa a desejar, pois não passa nada nos programas abertos e sempre dão prioridade ao futebol, ao volei de praia e ao futsal..
Mas o que vale é a simplicidade do surf e a historia que ele representa.
